How hard was it using colored paper? Do you think you will continue down that road?

I have always been a fan of this style, though I have never tried it, you manage to really get a lot of tones with your whites. nicely done.

KoolRock - It was rather difficult getting used to drawing on dark paper. A photographer I know likened it to drawing a negative. I actually went through two other drafts before this final version. I do like it, though, and I have several other pieces planned with the black paper.
Lizzy - Getting a range of whites was a little more difficult than with black, maybe because I’m new at this. White charcoal only comes in one hardness, too, and the kneaded eraser doesn’t work as well.
