Whispers of Waitaha

As the Huee (Gourd plant) opens it’s peaceful white blooms to a new dawn so too do the Waitaha People begin their journey of peace on Papatuuaanuku (Grandmother Earth).  Te Taua Puurerehua (Grandmother Moth) whispers out to Te Ao Maarama (Universe) on her spiral flight of pollination and the vessels of peaceful waters are born. oil & 3d paint on canvas,2005

This is an etching I did some time ago. It is something for individual interpretation.

I shot from 10 am to 10 pm two weeks ago and made this into a classical piece for her.
